Andrews is a leader in melanin advocacy in the beauty industry with clients like Lena Waithe, Cynthia Erivo, Teyana Taylor, Michaela Jae Rodriguez, and many others. Her extensive education and work as an educator with numerous brands, and her expertise in skin conditions and pigmentation disorders for people of color have positioned her as a trusted voice in the industry.
Brandi J. Andrews is a licensed beauty industry expert and inclusive skincare advocate dedicated to serving BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and gender-affirming individuals who are far too often overlooked in traditional beauty and medical aesthetics spaces.
Brandi Andrews is a science-backed, trauma-informed skincare brand at the forefront of the evolving clinical and holistic wellness movement. With 25 years of experience in media, branding, community building, and entrepreneurial development within the beauty industry, Brandi has built her career on amplifying untold stories, shifting cultural narratives around self-care, and creating scalable growth pathways for beauty professionals. As a licensed clinical and holistic esthetician specializing in the melanin spectrum, she brings deep industry insight and a lived understanding of one of the most underserved segments in skincare. To push through the glass ceiling, under her leadership, is redefining inclusive skincare with evidence-based, professionally validated products designed to serve both consumers and trusted professionals.
Brandi began her professional journey in 2008 at the San Francisco Institute of Esthetics + Cosmetology, becoming the first student to complete both the cosmetology and esthetics programs within a year, graduating with honors. Since 2018, she has led operations and sales for high-end dermatology and cosmetic practices in Beverly Hills and completed an externship under Dr. Landon McCarroll, DHSc, PA, focused on the full spectrum of melanin-skin conditions and pigmentation disorders.
Currently enrolled to complete her Medical Assistant certification and pursuing dermatology licensure, Brandi continues to bridge the gap between spa wellness and clinical skincare with expertise, empathy, and integrity. Through her avenues, she is building a future where people of color can access expert-led, affirming, and effective skincare, whether in treatment, on their shelves, or through education that empowers the next generation of beauty entrepreneurs.
